I have a degree in dance from Eastern Michigan University and over 10 years of experience as a dance instructor.

I teach in the styles of contemporary, modern, improvisation, jazz, and tap. As a professional contemporary dancer, I have travelled the globe gaining experience and witnessing a variety of performances. I've been fortunate to perform in places such as Santo Domingo (DR), New York City (NY), Boston (MA), Chicago (IL), Athens (OH), Detroit (MI), Ann Arbor (MI), and more. These experiences have informed who I am as a dancer AND as an instructor. I am a huge advocate of always being a student, so I've taken classes from many different instructors gaining as much knowledge as I can to pass along to my students as well. I've taken classes in London, Edinburgh, Santo Domingo, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Boston and more.

I love working with students from all over the world bringing my vast array of experiences into the classroom.

I had a student that began the day by telling me he was sad - I tried many different ways to help him throughout the day but the workshop changed his entire demeanor and mood the way nothing else could. Most of them picked it as their “rose” for the day.

This was so necessary and I am deeply grateful for Megan's eagerness to support and teach in communities where these opportunities are not readily available. Every kid deserves to move and explore in a safe and structured environment!
