
Megan graduated in 2016 summa cum laude from Eastern Michigan University earning her BS in Dance Studio Management. Throughout her college years, Megan performed and trained under many notable choreographers such as Wendi Dubois, Holly Hobbs, Jillian Hopper, Sherry Jerome-Wilkinson, Thayer Jonutz, Kathy King, Erik Abbott-Main, Barbara Sellinger, Travis Staton-Marrero, Joanna Mcnamara, and Ali Woerner. She performed professionally with the contemporary company, Jodie Randolph Dance for 8 years and served as the Artistic Director of the pre-professional company, Young Dancers Initiative for 6 years.
In addition to dancing, she has been teaching and choreographing for over a decade and currently works as an instructor/choreographer at P & P Dance Centre, in Belleville, MI. Megan has choreographed and taught for many organizations in Michigan including Brighton Dance Festival, Orchesis Dance at Michigan State University, Wayne State University, P&P Dance Centre, Dance Xplosion, The Turning Pointe, Decamp's Spotlight, Ballet Chelsea, The Dance Shoppe, Michelle’s Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Center, Allegro Dance, V’s School of Dance, Dance 4 Him (New Mexico), Integrity Dance Arts, Ann Arbor Dance Classics and more. Megan’s work has been presented at RADFest in Kalamazoo, American College Dance Association, Eastern Michigan University, Wayne State University, Michigan State University, Michigan Youth Arts Festival, and several regional and national dance competitions. Since 2021, she has been touring nationally as a judge with Turn It Up Dance Challenge.
In 2018, Megan performed and assisted/demonstrated at ENDANZA, an International Dance Festival held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She has travelled around the globe to teach and choreograph for dancers at studios, conservatories, and schools. Megan enjoys teaching movement improvisation lessons to local schools and clubs to inspire the next generation of movers. She is thrilled to continue her journey as a freelance dance educator, dancer, and choreographer in Michigan and beyond.
